Psalm 35

From God To Me      From Me To God

1  with those who with ; fight against those who fight against .

2 take hold of shield and buckler and stand up for help.

3 draw out also the spear, and stop the way against those who ; soul that salvation.

4 let those who seek after soul be confounded and put to shame; let those who devise hurt be turned back and brought to confusion.

5 let them be as chaff before the wind; and let angel .

6 let their way be dark and slippery; and let angel them.

7 For without cause they have hidden for their net in a pit, which without cause they have dug for soul.

8 let destruction come upon him unawares; and let his net that he has hidden catch himself; into that very destruction let him fall.

9 And soul will be joyful in ; it will rejoice in salvation.

10 All bones will say of : Who is like , who delivers who poor from him who is too strong for , yes, who poor and needy from him who spoils ?

11 False witnesses rose up; they laid to charge things that did not know.

12 They evil for good, to the of soul.

13 But as for , when they were sick, clothing was sackcloth; humbled soul with fasting; and prayer returned into own bosom.

14  behaved self as if they had been friend or family; bowed down heavily, as if mourning for mother.

15 But they rejoiced in adversity and gathered themselves together; yes, the gathered themselves together against , and did not know it; they tore and did not stop;

16  mockers in feasts, they gnashed with their teeth.

17 I the Lord will not look on long.Lord, how long will You look on? rescue soul from their destructions, life, My darling, from the lions.

18 Give thanks in the great ; praise among many people.

19  let those who are enemies wrongfully rejoice over ; nor will I let those who hate without a cause wink their eyes.

20 For they do not speak peace; but they devise deceitful against who quiet in the land.

21 Yes, they opened their mouth wide against and said, “Aha, aha, our eye has seen it.”

22  have seen this; keep silent; do not be far from .

23 stir self up and , even to cause, for God and Lord.

24 I, the Lord your God, will according to righteousness, O Lord my God; and let them over .

25  let them say in their hearts, “Ah, just what we wanted!” let them say that they have swallowed up.

26 let those who rejoice at hurt be ashamed and brought to confusion together; let those who magnify themselves against be clothed with shame and dishonor.

27 let those who favor righteous cause shout for joy and be glad; yes, let those who have pleasure in ( servant’s) prosperity say continually, “Let the Lord be magnified.”

28 And tongue will speak of righteousness and of praise all day long.
