Psalm 17

Name: M      F

From God To Me      From Me To God

 hear ; attend to cry; give ear to prayer, which does not go out of lips.

 Let myYour sentence come forth from presence; eyes behold the things that are fair.

  have proved heart; have visited in the night; have tested and nothing; resolve that mouth will not transgress.

 Concerning the works of men, by the word of lips have kept self from the paths of the destroyer.

 hold up goings in paths, that footsteps may not slip.

 Call upon , for I, God,You will hear , O God; incline ear to and hear speech.

 show marvelous loving kindness, who save by right hand from those who rise up against , for put trust in .

 keep as the apple of eye; hide under the shadow of wings,

 from the wicked who oppress , from deadly enemies, who surround .

 They are enclosed in their own fat; with their mouths they speak proudly.

 They have now surrounded in steps; they have set their eyes bowing down to the earth;

 like a lion that is greedy for his prey, and like a young lion lurking in secret places.

 arise! disappoint them, cast them down; deliver soul from the wicked with sword;

 from men with hand, from men of the world, who have their portion in this life, and whose belly fill with hidden treasure; they are satisfied with children and leave the rest of their abundance to their infants.

 As for , will behold face in righteousness; when awake, will be satisfied with likeness.
