³ Grace to , and peace, from , God Father, and from Me, Lord Jesus Christ.

⁵ Knowing love and faith which have toward Me, Lord Jesus, and toward all saints;

⁶ That the communication of faith may become effective by the acknowledging of every good thing which is in in Me.

⁷ For We have great joy and consolation in love, because the hearts of the saints are refreshed by , brother.

⁸ Therefore, though as the Christ might be very bold to command what is right,

⁹ Yet for love’s sake rather , prisoner.

¹⁰  beseech for own sake, , whom have begotten,

¹¹  who used to be useless to self, but now are useful to self and to Me,

¹²  whom ask for again; therefore, let me receive , own heart,

¹³  whom wish to keep with Me, that might minister to in the chains of the gospel;

¹⁴ But without consent would do nothing, that good deed should not be done out of necessity, but willingly.

¹⁵ For perhaps therefore departed from for a season, that should receive forever;

¹⁶ Not now as a servant, but above a servant, a beloved brother, especially to Me, but how much more to , both in the flesh and in Me?

¹⁷ Count therefore and let receive to Myself and take in.
